What’s up you beautiful adventurers!
It has been a minute since we’ve checked in with you all. We hope you’re making the most of this stillness and spending solid time out in nature!
This is a longer update sooo to summarize - we’re launching three new products soon and you can be one of the first to try them out by completing this quick survey! You’ll be entered into a drawing upon completion.

Let’s break it down…
SuperLoops| These are a super versatile and durable addition to the MODL ecosystem. For all the bikers, runners, and explorers out there, we think you’re really going to dig these longer and adjustable straps for both ends of the bottle. With many attachment points, you can choose any length to make sure you have a secure attachment point to any bag, branch, or bike. Coming to an internet near you in October 🎃
Next-gen Go MOD| Ohhhhh yeah this is one of our favorites. We’ve heard from you all and through our own experiences - the original Go MOD can be so much better. We are stoked to share this update with you all eliminating the most common pain points. This new Go MOD is leak-proof and easy to drink from with a bite-valve instead of a plug. That way, you can attach a straw to the inside and not even have to tilt the bottle to take a sip. And, it has a cover to keep the mouthpiece nice and clean. Coming this November 🦃
Tie-Dye MODL | This is one far out addition to the MODL family - the groovy vibes coming from this bottle speak for itself. Coming to a virtual Shakedown Street near you this November 🎶
BONUS UPDATE:Surprise color | Let’s just say it’s got some Arctic glacier vibes… you’ll see what we mean 😉 We gotta keep things somewhat exciting for you guys.

What’s upppp peeps!
We hope you’re doing well, staying healthy, and making the most of this funky time. You don’t need us to tell you that it’s pretty weird out there. That said, we hope you’re getting creative and finding new ways to make the most of it.
Back in the day, we were talking with many of you on a daily basis and... we miss you! Feel free to shoot us an email at [email protected] with a little update from your end - whatcha been up to? How has MODL been for you? Any ideas or suggestions? We’d love to hear from ya :)
Here’s what we’ve been up to:
Most of our inventory just arrived at our US fulfillment center meaning wayyy faster shipping times. So if you’re looking to add more MODs or grab some more bottles, all new orders will deliver in 3-7 days. And for being part of the original crew, use the code BACKER for 15% off!
We’ve pulled our roots from Georgia and planted them in the beautiful city of Denver! That’s right - MODL HQ is now in the Mile-High City soooo all the Colorado backers out there, let’s meet up! Virtually for now, in-person adventures later 🏕
We’re working on an updated Go MOD! We’ve heard from you all that the plug on the Go MOD is pretty easy to knock loose and you want a cover to keep it clean. A new Go design is in the works now and we think you’ll love it - we sure do!
There's much much more we could unpack so if you have any questions, feel free to reach out. The years of hard work are finally coming together and the momentum is strong right now 💪 We truly would not be here without you incredible people believing in us so early on, and taking a leap of faith. Since MODL hit the world with you lovely people, we've felt some serious waves and our little brand has been working overtime to keep the momentum rolling. And now, it is time to take MODL to the next level.

What's uppppppp you incredible people!
We hope you've had some hydrated adventures since we last spoke (or at least just hydrating). It's been wild to hear all of the ways you've fit MODL into your lives. After many calls, emails, and meetups, we were inspired to create a list of tips and tricks from your experiences. And we want to highlight one backer who has done all sorts of crazy s*** with MODL 🤯 Let's dive right in...
Tips
To scrub down the inside, take a sponge or wet towel and toss it inside the bottle. Remove both caps, then squish and rub the walls of the bottle together (see gif below)
You can never be too safe when making sure the cap is on. After screwing on a cap, give it a "squeeze test" by squeezing the middle of the bottle and listening for air. If you hear air, unscrew it a little and try again. You'll get 'em next time :)
To give the bottle a deep clean or get rid of any taste, remove the caps from both ends and place the bottle in boiling water on the stove for 10-15 minutes. Voila!
When the Go MOD is on, use LifeLoops to hook the bottle outside of your bag. That way any valuables are extra safe from getting wet.
Tricks *inspired by real adventures*
Toss some hot or cold water in the bottle and a world of possibilities opens up. MODL becomes a hot compress for aches, a cooling leg roller, a body warmer for a sleeping bag, and much more. If you use boiling water, make sure to hold MODL by the LifeLoops!
Place a Vapor MODL on it's side and lay your phone light down on top of it for an impromptu lantern 💡

Wavemaker of the Month 🌊
We're trying something new! We want to highlight one backer from this awesome community every month. This month, meet Joseph! He's been trying to simplify how he hydrates on bike rides and even jerry-rigged a similar solution to MODL before it existed. You can imagine he got quite creative with how he MODLs. We did a deeper dive on him in our Journal - check it out here :)
What we're working on
Improving the Go MOD - After many conversations, it's clear the plug for the Go MOD can come out a bit too easily. We're working on a next-gen Go MOD that should address this and will keep you updated on progress.
Exploring longer LifeLoops - We've heard through the hydrosphere that longer LifeLoops could come in handy when the Go MOD is on, to make it easier to hook onto bikes and more. We're looking into this!
Designing the next MOD - You all have sent some incredible ideas our way, and we'll poll this community once we have the chance to explore their feasibility. We're always taking suggestions for next-gen MODs so hit us up at [email protected] if you have an idea!
Building the movement - We view this as the starting line. Now that we have real gear and a killer community, it's time to roll with the momentum.
